The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is one of my FAVORITE shopping events of the year! It offers top brands with discounts for the upcoming season. In other words, you can get fall clothing on sale ahead of time! I have been shopping this sale for almost a decade and will help you make the most of it! Whether you are looking for the newest pieces for your wardrobe, stocking up on top beauty products or looking for high-quality baby gear, I have you covered! Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Tips

Preview + wish list = faster checkout. Before the sale goes live for your access tier, use the preview feature to create a Wish List. This bypasses browsing time and helps you check out faster—critical since hot items sell out within minutes.

Don’t wait for reviews – check fabric & fit descriptions. New arrivals won’t have many reviews, so instead check the fabric content, inseam, rise, or heel height—Nordstrom is good at including fit callouts like “runs large.” Compare to what you already own to gauge the best fit.

Or buy multiple sizes, return later. Nordstrom’s free returns make it worth buying multiple sizes in hot-ticket items (like denim, coats, or shoes) so you don’t miss out waiting to decide. Return what doesn’t work later, stress-free.

Take advantage of the app’s push notifications. Turn on notifications for restocks of sold-out items on your wishlist, price drops, and order status to stay ahead.

Consider paying for expedited shipping. This will expedite your order and give you the best chance to receive your items while still in stock.

Watch for restocks. I have been told Nordstrom often restocks returns or extra inventory around 5–6 AM CST. Set an alarm to check your Wish List early before the rest of the shoppers are awake.

Sizing Reference: I am 5’3″; currently two months postpartum and breastfeeding with a larger bust. My current size typically is a small on tops, medium on bottoms.

Farm Rio Minidress: I absolutely love all of the detail on this dress! Wear this all year around with its neutral colors and blue accents. The print is a mix of florals and seashells, paired with flowy sleeves, ruffle trim on the skirt to create a whimsical style. Wearing size medium.

Rails Cardigan: The contrast stitching is so chic! The fabric includes a hint of cashmere and is cozy for cooler fall or winter days. Style with your favorite jeans or black trousers. Wearing size XS. (I needed a size up but it was unavailable.)

Paige Denim: Oh my goodness, I loved these! With their soft denim fabric, and subtle stretch, I could wear these every day. They are brand new but already have that loved-in feel. They feature a higher waist and ankle length – at 5’3″, this felt like a standard length on me. Wearing size 28.

Treasure & Bond Maxi: Absolutely love this dress! The color is called Green Gables and is a rich, luscious green that is beautiful for the upcoming months. This has a flowy skirt that is lined and with pockets. Definitely a stunner! Wearing size small.

Madewell Sweater: Such a cute every day sweater for fall. I love the nautical look with the navy stripes and tan accent on the sleeves. It is dressed up with the polo collar and v-neck. Has a little bit of a cropped fit and pairs well with high-rise denim. Wearing XS.

Treasure & Bond Dress: Burgundy is trending for fall! This is a beautiful find with a floral print and gold metallic threading woven into the fabric. The skirt portion is flowy, comes to knee length on me. Sleeves are a little loose with elastic cuffs. Comfortable and trendy! Style with gold accents and neutral heels. Wearing size small.

Madewell Shirtdress: This hourglass dress shows off all the curves! It features a lightweight fabric with a tan, burgundy and black floral print. There is smocking on the waist, pockets and buttons on the chest. The stretchy smocking in the midsection creates an hourglass figure and cinched-in waist. This falls about 2 inches above my kneecap. Wearing size small.

Farm Rio Cardigan: This colorful cardigan is a gorgeous piece to add to a fall wardrobe! Has a thicker knit that’s going to be very warm in the cold weather. I love the fanciful design and oversized buttons. This runs very oversized, consider sizing down. Wearing XXS.

TravisMathew D ress: This dress features premium fabric with a soft stretchy feel. The neckline is adjustable with the zipper, there are biker shorts underneath for added coverage. I love that the back is closed so I have the option to wear a regular bra. This was my favorite tennis dress I tried on in the sale! Wearing size medium.

New Balance Sneakers: The minute I put these on, I knew they were worth keeping. Comfortable, with a little bounce, I love that they blend style and functionality. They come available in a few color options – I am wearing the rose pink! Fit true to size. These will likely sell quickly!! Amazon has them on sale, not at the same price, but keep an eye out for any big Prime deals!

Zella Pullover: Adore this pullover!! I think Zella makes some of the best pullovers for their price. This comes in three colors – ivory, black and burgundy – and I can see myself wearing all three over and over! It features a waffle-like textured fabric with a half zip. Style with your favorite leggings, denim or throw it over a tennis dress! I found the length very flattering, not too cropped. Width runs a little big. Wearing XS.

Spanx Leggin gs: These leggings suck everything in and support the booty! I love that the higher waistline helps to hold in my postpartum tummy. Crafted from sweat-wicking compression fabric, these are great for workouts or athleisure outfits! These are a 7/8 length. Fits true to size. Wearing size medium.

Spanx Dress: In true Spanx fashion, this dress sucks you in! I love the modern style of this tennis dress and full back coverage – it’s sleek and trendy! They did not have my size I needed, but it squeezed me in. Runs a little small. Wearing size small, but my best fit would be a medium.
