The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is a great time to stock up on beauty favorites and try something new as a special treat while items are on sale. I’m rounding up a few beauty favorites and home luxuries that are a part of the 2022 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale!
Home Favorites
Silk Pillowcases
I have long been a fan of the tried and true Slip Silk Pillowcases. They decrease friction on your face and limit absorption of your nighttime beauty products. In other words, they keep those precious serums and moisturizers where they belong – on your skin. This year there is a newcomer in silk pillowcases with WAY more color options. Enter Blissy Silk Pillowcases! With great reviews and a color for everyone, I am excited to try these. I’m loving the rich emerald for the holiday months and ash blue for a serene sleep space.
Jo Malone Candle Duo
Truly some of the most fragrant and luxurious candles on the market, we love filling our home with scents from Jo Malone! Each year we stock up on a few and keep them in the bathrooms. Not only do they smell amazing but they are gorgeous and function as decor too! This year’s duo is a combination of the fresh Lime Basil & Mandarin and floral Peony & Blush Suede elegance. While it’s not on sale currently, this is my favorite fragrance EVER for the fall and winter months! Swoon!
Skincare and Makuep Favorites
Riki Lighted Mirror
Michael gifted this to me for my birthday last year and I am obsessed. The lighting around the perimeter of the mirror creates the perfect glow to make sure your makeup is flawless before heading out the door. It comes with a stand and attachment for your phone, if you wanted to do a makeup tutorial or have great lighting for FaceTime. I also find it helpful to eliminate shadows and create the perfect glow when filming instastories! It’s convenient for travel and can be easily stored away when not in use. Love it!
Moisturizer
This moisturizer goes on the “Holy Grail” list! It has carried me through all four seasons plus with the skincare changes that occurred during pregnancy. It’s gentle and suitable for a variety of skin types and regimens. The deal includes the jumbo size which is a great value and the coordinating cleanser. If you want a moisturizer with more “anti-aging” benefits, this moisturizer is also a part of the sale and includes the luscious eye cream. My personal preference, however, is to use the Ultra Facial Cream (white tub) and layer it with my serums and retinol products.
Eye Palette
I saw this in person and fell in love with the colors and intensity of the pigment. It’s the perfect mix of matte and shimmer colors! Bonus: it comes with mascara! This was my first purchase in this year’s sale!
Hair Favorites
Curling Iron
I have loved this curling iron to provide a quick style that locks in curls. The wide range of temperature settings allows you to create a near customizable experience with minimal damage to hair. Since I have finer hair, I prefer a lower temperature whereas some of my friends with thicker hair use the higher temperatures. It works for you! This pairs well with their Aireluxe Hair Dryer. I saw a lady using this in the locker room of my gym and her hair had a gorgeous shine! If you live in a humid environment, this is perfect for its frizz reduction.
Texturizing Spray
Dubbed the “magic set” for good reason. This texturizing spray is the BEST! Take it from someone with fine hair. It adds the volume and “wow factor” to any hairstyle and smells amazing! It is more of a splurge product, but a worthwhile splurge! This set comes with dry shampoo to add longevity between washes. Flat hair is exiting the room – hello volume!
