Be still my heart! There is so much joy and excitement in this post that it’s difficult to contain. Michael and I are married!!

We had our October wedding in the beautiful Vail, Colorado. With the current pandemic, we decided to be safe and change our plans to a very small ceremony in hopes to have a traditional reception with family and friends in May 2021.

I am delighted to share our fall micro wedding in Vail!

Our wedding afternoon and dinner reception were perfect! We had the ceremony in the backyard of the VRBO we rented. Decorations were kept to a minimum as we were immersed in vibrant yellow leaves, Rocky Mountain pine trees and a backdrop of Gore Creek. It was beautiful!

After the ceremony, Michael and I took a few photos around Vail Village and then went to our reception dinner. The violinist from the ceremony played music for cocktail hour and for a dance for my dad and I, as well as Michael and I. Since it was a small fall wedding, we decided to have fun and asked the pastry chef to bake a pumpkin spice cake with cream cheese frosting! It was so good!

The evening was a night to remember! A big thank you to EVERYONE who helped make this day special for both Michael and I!
