Happy Labor Day Weekend! This weekend makes it feel more official to welcome in early fall basics for the season. Whether it’s a good sweater or chunky cardigan, it’s nice to have options that are practical for a variety of occasions. I love this sweater paired with a favorite pair of jeans. Hi ladies, I hope you are having a great week so far! We have already made it through the first half of the week. If you are like me, in the middle of the week I opt for keeping things simple. Dinners, activities and fashion decisions are usually minimized so I can maintain a harmonious balance between a busy hospital work schedule and family. When I need to change out of my hospital scrubs for a dinner with friends or family, I love options that are effortless but stylish. This printed t-shirt dress has been one of my easiest – but most complimented – options for casual events lately!

Fall is so close, I can smell it! While it’s still 100 degrees here in Texas, we have a few fall trips lined up to Banff, Seattle and Colorado Springs over the next couple weeks that has me planning outfits for the cooler temperatures.
