Happy November! I hope everyone had a great Halloween last night. With temperatures getting colder I modify my beauty regimen to wear deeper fall tones and maintain hydrated skin in a dry climate. Happy Halloween! This day always brings back memories of haunted hayrides, homemade costumes and then dancing around hyped up on sugar and excitement. While those trick-or-treating days are long gone, my joy resides in seeing the next generation experience this fun day!

Fall invites in cozy sweaters, colorful leaves and warm coffees. With mornings that are cooler, coffee is like a tender hearted hug in a mug. And let’s be real, coffee is always a great option for the days that end in “y”. But with the daily expense of ordering coffees and lattes on the rise, I opted to create my own mini-coffee bar where I can concoct many of my favorite coffee drinks from the comfort of my own home. And for a fraction of the price! I love the concept of coffee bars for when guests visit too. It makes an easy place for them to find all their favorite ingredients to customize the coffee to their liking. To make it more fun, here are tips to create a Halloween coffee bar for a boo-tiful start to your day!
Happy first day of fall! There has been so much anticipation leading up to the start of this season that now I feel it is ‘officially’ acceptable to have all the pumpkins and mums on my patio… that I set out last week. Ha. With the fall season, I love throwing on a casual flannel shirt with jeans. Fall flannel tops bring me back to days of going on hayrides and then sitting by the campfire. They are warm and cozy, making them a favorite for cooler weather. Flannel is relatively affordable and lasts for years, which is one reason why I justify having a few prints in my closet.
This past weekend we were fortunate to head out to Colorado Springs for a quick trip. The city is nestled between the Rockies and the plains, and filled with adventure. While visiting Colorado Springs, we celebrated a friend’s wedding, dressed up in a favorite fall cardigan and explored a few places within the city.
