Summer dress season is here! From wedding events to parties, it’s the perfect time to whip out a statement dress and feel extra beautiful and fabulous. I love having a fun outfit to celebrate even the smallest of occasions. For most events I opt to use a dress rental service so I can have a unique dress shipped and cleaned without the hassle of re-wearing the same dress over and over again or paying for dry cleaning fees. I have been doing this for 5 years and have found several dresses I love and recommend! Here are some favorites in the Statement Dress Guide for Summer!

Why I love it: Summer seersucker paired with unique embroidery creates a style that is flirty and fun! This dress features pom-pom trim and ruffle sleeves for all the cute details.
Sizing notes: Runs slightly small with length best for petite to average heights. Fits narrow at this waist. Overall, very figure flattering!
Why I love it: An elegant blend of embroidered roses overlaying tulle makes this dress one of the most beautiful dresses I have ever worn! Simply romantic and stunning!
Sizing notes: Fits true to size. The sweetheart hem may cut a little lower on petite frames, but at 5’3″ I was able to wear with a strapless bra.
Why I love it: Gosh, the fun pops of colors on this dress are unlike any other. The pattern is created to accentuate all the right areas. Twirl away with the full skirt! And the ribbon in back sealed the deal!
Sizing notes: The waist runs small, size up. The v-cut neckline does dip a little low on shorter statures. Add a bandeau if needed.
Why I love it: Red lace is a classic. Formal enough for a black tie event, but comfortable enough you won’t be ready for the party to end!
Sizing notes: True to size and very flattering to most body types! The length was just above the ground for me with 3 inch heels. Baby bump friendly!
Why I love it: Perfect to shimmer for a night out on the town! The blush pink sequins will have you dazzling and feeling like a queen! Another comfortable option for the win!
Sizing notes: Fits true to size and can be worn with a regular bra. Comfortable in the mid-section. For a similar dress in floor length that I have loved, see here.
Why I love it: Where sophisticated meets style, this dress is a class act! I love figure-flattering pattern that creates an hourglass figure. Classy enough to wear during the course of the day, from business meetings to post-work dinner events.
Sizing notes: Runs true to size. There is no stretch on the fabric so size up if between sizes. Best for air conditioned environments or cool nights.
Why I love it: The embroidery on this dress is a work of art. In my opinion, the pictures do not do this dress justice. With every flower and leaf intricately woven, the fabric is beautiful but can run heavy. For summer, this is a great option for indoor events or cool nights. I had to find excuses to not wear this dress because I loved it so much!
Sizing notes: The length is perfect for all. At 5’3″, the midi fit was more like a maxi on me but I loved wearing it at that length. Fits true to size.
Why I love it: The fabulous fabric is designed to flatter us just as we were made, curves and all! Well-crafted and a little sexy, get ready to ‘wow’ the crowd! The vibrant color is perfect for summer or vacations! Cannot wait to re-rent this dress!
Sizing notes: Works like shapewear in the sense that it smooths everything out. Made to fit very snug but has a little stretch. Fits true to size to slightly small.
