Fall Doormats to Welcome in the Season

I cannot believe it’s almost that time of year again – fall! While the season has approached quickly this year, I am always excited for these upcoming months ahead. As the summer greenery fades away and makes way for vibrant yellows, oranges and reds, the fall has a colorful way of inviting in several festive activities that make this time of year so special.

Since it is now September, I am starting to set out some of my fall decor. I recently laid out this doormat for my front door and love its true southern style! I have seen a few people layer their rugs with a plaid rug underneath, and I love the look!

On the back patio, I have this doormat from last year that I ordered from the same Etsy seller. She does a great job of playing on cute phrases and puns for her doormats that create a fun welcome home. Each doormat is hand-painted for a personal touch. And after lots of walking and weather changes affecting my doormat last year, I can tell you the doormat’s quality has passed the test of time!
