Since getting the new AirPods, I am almost always listening to something when I run errands, drive work or exercise at the gym. It’s my stress reliever, motivator and educator. Here are a few of my frequent listens currently:
- Before We Were Yours – Audiobook: A novel by Lisa Wingate that intertwines past with present, this tale unites two families from orphaned families. Based on historical events in the 1930’s-40’s, you will find yourself in suspense as the book unfolds.
- Gary Vaynerchuk – Podcast: Not for the faint of heart, this businessman and marketing guru provides inspiration and advice to entrepreneurs. His success has led to the growth of his multi-million dollar business and multiple best-selling books.
- JohnnySwim – Music: This husband and wife team beautifully combine a genre of their own with a mix of blues, pop and folk music. Their song, “Home”, is the theme song for “Fixer Upper”. Their voice is sweet and their message is sweeter.
- The Real Estate Rehab Investing Bible – Audiobook: For anyone interested in real estate investing, this guide walks you through the entire home “flipping” process from experts.
- How I Built This with Guy Raez – Podcast: Stories of how some of the biggest and best companies were created by interviewing the founder themselves. Two favorite episodes: Spanx and Southwest Airlines. Listening to Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams next!
- Capital Gaines – Audiobook: In his own words, Chip Gaines narrates smart things he learned doing stupid stuff. A biography with stories of his antics, lessons and advice. An easy listen that leaves a smile and full heart.
Y’all there is so much great stuff available that listening has become one of my favorite pastimes. I am constantly churning through material and always looking for other recommended favorites – please let me know what you are listening to currently!!
About this outfit: Oh my heavens, how fun is this top! A mix of bold greens and blues, softened with pink and white, all embroidered on this black mesh blouse. When I showed my boyfriend, his response, was, “Wow! That’s a cool top!” The bird details are so perfect for spring. This is definitely a top I adore! It is a new release for spring, but I don’t anticipate it will stay in stock for long. Pair with a black cami and size up, as it does run a little on the smaller size. I wore it with blue and tan, including the prettiest earrings, beaded bracelets, chain bracelet and fitted pants.
