While fall is my favorite season, it’s not officially the fall months yet. Take advantage of the fresh produce is still available and combine them for a delicious and nutritious fruit salad. Get creative with your salads – try different fruits, nuts, seeds, cheeses and dressings that you would not normally try. Here’s three combinations I enjoy. “Three Fruit Salads to Eat Before Summer Ends”

Delicious caprese salads have become one of my favorite summer staples. I love it as an appetizer or a meal with prosciutto. It’s easy to prepare and tastes amazing. Since there are only a few ingredients used, it is important to only use high-quality and fresh ingredients.
For many years I stored my statement necklaces on one hook or in a drawer. This led to me sorting through the drawer when I was in a rush to get ready. In an effort to store necklaces more appropriately and efficiently, I created a necklace display by using a few things I had on hand. A piece of crown molding from the hardware store and lovely dresser drawer knobs are the essentials. This project can be customized to fit your room and style by changing the color of the crown molding and the style of knobs.
Earlier this year I was fortunate to venture off to a country I have been wanting to visit for 18 years:Australia! My friend and I packed our bags and headed south for two weeks. Most of our time was spent in Sydney, but we did head north for a few days to visit Cairns and the Great Barrier Reef.
Sydney is a gem in itself. The landscape of the city is a beautiful blend of luscious greenery, cliffs overlooking the Tasman Sea and sprawling beaches within each suburb. Locals, with their captivating accents and adorable mannerisms, are quick to offer assistance and hospitality. “Australia: Part One”
What’s better than guacamole? Hatch chile guacamole! I love the amount of recipes you can make this time of year using hatch chiles. Thinking of all the possibilities reminds me of Forrest Gump where he references all the foods you can make using shrimp, this time it’s…hatch chile burgers, hatch chile enchiladas, hatch chile poppers, hatch chile mac and cheese, hatch chile chili… Today we are going to combine these seasonal chiles with one of my favorite foods – guacamole. Let’s kick it up a notch by using roasted garlic and bacon.
