I cannot believe it’s almost that time of year again – fall! While the season has approached quickly this year, I am always excited for these upcoming months ahead. As the summer greenery fades away and makes way for vibrant yellows, oranges and reds, the fall has a colorful way of inviting in several festive activities that make this time of year so special.
Happy Labor Day Weekend! This weekend makes it feel more official to welcome in early fall basics for the season. Whether it’s a good sweater or chunky cardigan, it’s nice to have options that are practical for a variety of occasions. I love this sweater paired with a favorite pair of jeans. It has a soft, scalloped trim and is light with pointelle stitching making it a great option for the transition into fall. I also layer with a cami. Hi ladies, I hope you are having a great week so far! We have already made it through the first half of the week. If you are like me, in the middle of the week I opt for keeping things simple. Dinners, activities and fashion decisions are usually minimized so I can maintain a harmonious balance between a busy hospital work schedule and family. When I need to change out of my hospital scrubs for a dinner with friends or family, I love options that are effortless but stylish. Fall is so close, I can smell it! While it’s still 100 degrees here in Texas, we have a few fall trips lined up to Banff, Seattle and Colorado Springs over the next couple weeks that has me planning outfits for the cooler temperatures. Over the past few years there are some autumn styles that have faded out. However there are also some outfits that have proved they are not “trendy”, but instead classic styles.
